The library has three blogs. The "GPL Teen Voices Matter!" blog, the "Galesburg Library Kids" blog, and the Galesburg Public Library Archive and Local History blog.
Blogs are a new way of sharing information. A blog is a web page made up of short, frequently updated posts that are arranged chronologically--with the most recent post on the top. The content and purposes of blogs varies—from links to other web sites, to news about an event, person, or idea; to diaries, photos, poetry, mini-essays, project updates, conversations and debates, even fiction. Blogs can be personal or public.
The library's blogs are created by our librarians just for you. The blogs will help you stay up to date on what's happening at the library, find out about events and programs at the library, best-selling books, great websites, authors, and more.
There is a comment feature on each blog. Click the "Comment" feature and a comment box will load for you to type your comment. No special web skills are needed! Check anonymous (if you don't wish to become a registered user), complete the word verification and click "Login and Publish."

The "GPL Teen Voices Matter Blog" gives our teens an opportunity to express themselves as well as keep up to date on new materials and events at the library.
The "Galesburg Library Kids" blog will keep you up to date on the children's room and on news of interest to parents, teachers, caretakers and children.
The "Galesburg Public Library Archive" blog presents features and photos from the library's archive.
