Teacher Loan and Reserve Materials
Teacher Loan grants teachers a six week loan period to check out materials for use
in the classroom. Teachers are responsible for all lost and overdue materials. Materials
may also be placed on reserve for use in the library. Library staff is happy to
assist in selecting the teacher loan materials and assisting in the reserve process.
Library staff is happy to help students with projects and special school assignments. Since most materials check out for three weeks, materials and resources may not be available unless prior notice of assignments is given to library staff. With one full week advance notice, materials can be set aside (reserved) for student use in the library. Reserving items will ensure all students have access to the library's materials and resources.
The Homework Helper form gives notice to the library about upcoming homework projects and assignments. The form requests general information about the assignment and the needed resources. It just takes a few minutes to complete and may be submitted online.
The library welcomes teachers and their classes for library tours. Contact the children's room
