American Girls Club Sat. Sept. 27

Kit Kittredge will be featured on Sat. Sept. 27 from 11 AM to Noon. Participants will be playing games with marbles and a paper plate and making various crafts that were popular during the 1930’s. Come and join the fun making paper boxes, mini scrapbooks, and pencil holders.

A $1 registration fee is due in the Children’s Room by Sept. 20.

 

Fancy Nancy  Sun. Oct. 5

No one knows fancy like Nancy. Do you know fancy too? Based on the Fancy Nancy books by Jane O’Connor, there will be a soiree (fancy name for party) on Sunday Oct. 5 from 2-3 PM. Remember to dress in your fanciest clothes, tiaras welcome!

A registration fee of $1 is due in the Children’s Room by Sun. Sept. 28


Craft Days Mon. Oct. 13 &

Sat. Nov. 22

Come make-it and take-it from 10AM—Noon and 2-4PM. October’s crafts will be a pumpkin made from candy orange slices, a pumpkin loot bag, a pumpkin weaving mat, and fall suncatchers.                                          In November you can make a snowflake door hanger, a holiday weaving ornament, party favors, and a gingerbread photo frame ornament.

No registration required.

 

   

Batman is Coming Thurs. Oct 30

A family activity night will be held Thurs. Oct. 30 from 6—7 PM. Batman will make an appearance as well as Batman crafts and activities.

$1 registration fee is due in the Children’s Room by Thurs. Oct. 23.

 

 

Chris Vallillo Celebrates Lincoln

On Sun. Oct. 19 at 2 PM, Chris will be singing from his CD “Abraham Lincoln in Song.” He weaves historic, period music and contemporary folksongs into a celebration of the life and times of one of our nation’s favorite sons.

No registration required.

 

Spiderwick Chronicles Thurs. Nov. 13

On Thursday, November 13, the Spiderwick Chronicles will come to life as we test your faerie knowledge, make a wood elf mask, and play the Spiderwick Chronicles board game.

A $1 registration fee is due by Nov. 6 in the Children’s Room.

 

Gingerbread Houses Thurs. Dec. 11

The annual “Decorating of Gingerbread Houses” will be Thursday, Dec. 11 from 3—7 PM. There will only be 100 houses to decorate, so reserve your house early with the $5 registration fee.
