Altered Book Workshop

Give new life to old books! Drop in anytime from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 25 for this free form art and craft session. We provide the tools, books, and embellishments--you bring the creativity! Free and open to all ages; registration encouraged but not required. Register at Reference by calling 343-6118 or emailing reference@galesburglibrary.org.

Book Discussions

Interested in attending a book discussion? We have several book discussions scheduled, just check our calendar or call the Galesburg Public Library. If you are interested in hosting your own book discussion, please contact the Galesburg Public Library at 343-6118 for materials and assistance.

The Big Write Reception

A reception for winners, entrants, friends, family, and the community will be held on Saturday, April 27, at 2:00 pm at the library. Refreshments will be served and the winners will have the opportunity to read their entries. Everyone is welcome. Click here for more information.

Sandburg Days Festival of the Mind

Starting April 17, 2013, Sandburg Days Festival of the Mind activities begin. From family friendly musical entertainment to the Chicago-based Marc Smith Poetry Slam, this year's Festival will have something for everyone. Check the calendar for more details.
